About Me: Dr. Tinesh Pathania is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. He has a B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering from NIT Hamirpur, and M.Tech. in Water Resources Engineering and Management from IIT Guwahati. In 2021, he completed his PhD from IIT Bombay. In PhD, he also received the Commonwealth Split-site Scholarship to study at the University of Manchester for one year (Sept 2017 to Sept 2018). He works in solving hydrological problems and applying optimization techniques for the management of groundwater and surface water resources.
