About Me: Prof. Bhanwar Singh Choudhary graduated from M.B.M. Engineering College Jodhpur in 1998 in Mining Engineering and completed M.Tech (Mine Planning) and Ph.D. (Rock Blasting) from IIT (BHU), Varanasi and currently heading the Department of Mining Engineering, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad. He has more than 6 year’s industrial experience in surface and underground metal mining. His areas of expertise include Mine Planning, Rock Blasting, Tunnelling &Underground Space Technology and Underground Metal Mining. Prof. Choudhary has authored more than 100 research papers. He has guided 15 Ph.D. and 45 M.Tech students. He has completed 5 R&D Projects, 50 Industrial projects, 20 PDPs.
