About Me: I am a civil engineering researcher focused on the characterisation of pavement materials. My work aims to link material behaviour with field performance through a combination of experimental characterisation and modelling. I am particularly interested in how environmental conditions, loading, and material composition influence the long-term response of asphalt material. I work on translating fundamental material insights into engineering applications that improve the durability, resource efficiency, and performance of road infrastructure. In teaching, I emphasise clarity in fundamentals and their connection to real-world problems.

Research Interest: • Multiscale characterization of asphalt material • Recycling of asphalt material • Viscoelastic modelling
