APPLICATION PROCEDURE

All candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program (Externally Funded) must apply online through the admission portal of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to verify that they meet all the eligibility requirements for admission. Please consult the official information brochure.

1. Complete the registration step before applying.
2. After registration, verify your email using the link sent to your registered email address.
3. Login to the application portal using your registration number.
4. Read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
5. Start your application using the “Registration” tab.
6. Fill in all mandatory fields (marked with *). If a field is not applicable, write "NA".
7. Upload necessary documents (marksheets, degree certificates, category certificates) in PDF format.
8. Submit the application after completing all details.
9. Save a PDF copy of your completed application, as it will be required during the admission process.
