The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences offers compulsory Institute Core (IC) courses to the first-year undergraduate students at the institute. These include Understanding Human Behaviour (NHSA103) and Communication Skills (NHSA101). Additionally, Open Elective (OEs) offered by the department include courses across English Literature, Language, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy disciplines.
