CIIL Mysore

The Central Institute of Indian Languages works for the promotion of Indian languages and helps the Government of India in matters related to language policy. Established in 1969, CIIL has a glorious history of five decades during which it has developed as a hub of activities focusing on Indian languages. Scholars working on any aspect of language/linguistics will find resonance with the on-going activities at CIIL. The Institute takes up study on Indian languages on its own and by collaborating with other academic institutions.
