M.B.A (Master of Business Administration)

The MBA program is a two-year full time course. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. In the first year, students are exposed to core courses consisting of certain basic and functional areas of management. In the summer vacation at the end of first year, students are required to spend approximately six weeks in an organization, doing a project on some significant aspect or problem of management.

In the second year, besides completing the remaining core courses, students pursue elective courses in two of the following areas of management such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and Systems and Operations Management. Each student has to choose elective courses from each area of specialization in the third and fourth semester.

The admission to two year MBA program is through Common Admission Test (CAT). Aspiring candidates have to submit application online in Common Admission Portal (available on institute website in the month of January). The shortlisted candidates are then called for group discussion and an interview. The number of seats available is sixty-two with reservation as per Government of India guidelines.

M. Tech (Industrial Engineering & Management)

The two-year programme includes eleven core courses in the first and second semester. In the second semester the candidate has to choose a specialization paper from thirteen different specializations. Students have to undergo industrial training for six weeks at the end of second semester. In the third and fourth semester the student has to work on a Dissertation for the partial fulfilment of the M.Tech. programme.

The admission to two year M.Tech. program is through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The number of seats available is twenty-six. An additional six seats are available for those who qualify in I.S.M Entrance Examination (these candidates are not provided any financial assistance by M.H.R.D). Reservation are as per Government of India guidelines.
